The instrument expects an external global trigger event. In the current config-
uration, the "Global Trigger" signal has to be supplied at the input connector
User 2.
The Trigger/Marker/Clock status LEDs in the block diagram confirm that an
external trigger signal is selected; the signal generation is however stopped.
To connect the instrument and the external trigger source
1. Use a suitable cable to connect the external trigger source to the User 2 con-
nector of the R&S
