Before you begin
If configuring from the endpoint, you must first enable advanced configuration, as described in
Maintaining the Scopia XT Series Locally from the Endpoint
on page 73.
To encrypt SIP calls using SRTP, you must also secure communication between your video network
devices using TLS certificates and enable encryption (see
Securing Connections to the XT Series Using
on page 140). If TLS is not enabled, only SIP calls to other XT Series endpoints are encrypted,
using a proprietary encryption protocol.
Procedure
1. Access the security settings as follows:
• From the XT Series web interface, select
Administrator Settings > Calls >
Encryption.
• From the endpoint's main menu, select
Configure > Advanced > Calls > Encryption
.

2. Select
Yes
from the
Enable encryption
field.
