message. After playing the last
message in a mailbox, the system
announces “End of messages.” If the
system has less than five minutes of
recording time left, it announces
remaining time.

message. Hold to speed up playback.

REPEAT/SLOW

the beginning of the message you
desire repeated is heard. Hold to slow

Adjusting the TAD’s Volume

To adjust the speaker’s volume, repeatedly

Deleting Messages

To delete a message in a mailbox, press

DELETE

while it is playing. The phone

announces “Message has been erased”.

select mail box”. Press the desired mailbox
button. The phone announces “All old
messages have been erased.” The number
of the remaining messages appears on the
display. The indicator on that MAILBOX

turns off.

Call Screening/Intercept

1. Make sure the answering system is on,

and set the message playback volume
control above level 1 so you can hear
the caller’s message.

2. If you decide to take the call, press

announcement does not stop right
away, press and release the telephone
switchhook.
