7.7a Error in CSV file
When operating the software in the user interface you may encounter one of these error
messages:
This error occurs when there are too few
or too many semicolons in a particular
row. The row number is indicated by
X.
This error occurs when the
settings.csv
file is not present in the
Collar Auto/data
folder.
This error occurs when an entry in a
particular row has an invalid value entered
in a specific column. The column is
indicated by
‘Column Name’
and the row
is indicated by
X
.
7.7b Run-time error ‘9’
When this error occurs you will see this message and the
software will close.
This error is caused by a blank
settings.csv
file. To fix it
create a new
settings.csv
file with the proper
programming.
7.7c log.txt and log_service.txt
The
log.txt
and
log_service.txt
files store every function that the software executes.
Anytime the software downloads data, detects a change in the
settings.csv
file, or
transfers data to a USB storage device the software logs that action into both the
log.txt
and the
log_service.txt
.
log.txt
This file is easy to understand and displays all of the text that appears in the
Status
window.
This file contains every message that has ever appeared in that window. It is an
excellent tool for you to see what the software did while it was deployed. In the event of
an issue with your software the support team at Telemetry Solutions will ask for this file.
