Feature Overview

Entering Text and Numerals 

●

In an input line (e. g. for a call number) you can make entries/changes 
straight away. The cursor indicates the position at which the input or 
deletion is made.

●

In input lines for text, the numerical keypad automatically switches to the 
entry of letters. 

●

Inputs are always made to the immediate left of the cursor position. 

●

Mistaken entries are always deleted to the  immediate left of the cursor 
position:

– on the Forum IPhone 5010 / Forum IPhone 5020 with the   navigation 
key,

– on the  Forum IPhone 5030 with the 

Delete

 softkey below the display.

●

If numerical inputs are longer than the display field, the digits disappear 
off the display to the left. On the Forum IPhone 5030 you can use the 

 navigation key to move the cursor  and display the digits that were previ-

ously not visible. The digits on the right will then disappear from the 
display field. 

●

On the Forum IPhone 5030 you can switch the input mode with the 

ABC/

abc/123

 softkey.

For a comfortable typing on the Forum IPhone 5030, you can use the 
detachable keyboard Forum 500(0) Keyboard Azerty FIP 5030 which is 
available as an accessory. For information on connecting this accessory see 
the chapter
