Menus at Your SIP System Telephone

Note:

 This type of call protection is only activated on the telephone on 

which it was set. If your internal call number is configured on the trunk 
or team keys of other telephones, call protection is not automatically 
activated on those telephones.

Announce. prot.

 (Announcement protection): Switching on or switching off 

announcement protection for your device. When announcement 
protection is activated, no announcements can be made to your tele-
phone (see also page 126). 

When there are multiple trunk keys configured on your telephone, you 
select the 

Device

 resp. - for an individual configuration - the desired 

trunk key. Confirm your selection.

Off

: Switching the function on or off.

Telephone lock

: If you wish to temporarily allow another person to use your 

telephone, you can activate the telephone lock. Then your telephone is 
given the authorisations for the “Guests” user group. This user group is 
configured by the system administrator and prevents unauthorised 
persons from accessing, reading or making changes in the

and its menu entries and lists on your telephone. Dialling rights may 
also be restricted. Emergency numbers can be stored in a special list 
assigned to your user group which can always be dialled, even with an 
activated telephone lock. Please contact your system administrator for 
information on the altered range of functions when the telephone lock 
is on. Telephone lock access is user-PIN protected (default “0000”).

Autodial

: Activate or deactivate the auto-dial function (see page 122)

 (Destination): Enter the call number that should be called on 

auto-dial.

: Switching the function on or off.

Change PIN

: Enter the current user PIN (6-digits max.) and then the new PIN 

twice. You require this PIN for accessing the telephone lock (see 
page 156). If you have misplaced your PIN, please contact your system 
administrator. 

Availability

 (“make available”): All active features (call protection, call 

forwarding, call waiting protection) which affect your reachability are 
deleted.
