Technical service

6.7  OPERATION OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND WARNING 

ELEMENTS 

Electrical installation service is reduced 
to periodic control of the operation of the 
control system as well as lighting system.
Work related to the repair, replacement 
or regeneration of electrical installation 
components should be entrusted to spe-
cialized workshops that have appropriate 

technologies and qualifications to perform 

this type of work.
The user’s duties include only the technical 
inspection of the electrical installation and 

reflectors.

SCOPE OF ACTIONS

•  After aggregating the trailer with the 

tractor, connect the lines supplying 
the lighting electrical system and the 
hydraulic system control system.

Make sure that the connecting 
cables are functional. Check 
the connection sockets on the 
tractor and on the trailer. If ne-
cessary, clean all dirt and dust

•  Check the completeness, technical 

condition and correct functioning of 
the trailer lighting.

Check the wiring harness for 
damage (rubbed insulation, wire 
break, etc.). Check the com-
pleteness of the lamps and all 

reflectors.

•   Check the correct mounting of the 

triangular plate holder for slow moving 
vehicles.

•  Before traveling on a public road, 

make sure that the tractor has a re-

flective warning triangle.

Driving with defective lighting installations is prohibi-

ted. Damaged lamps must be replaced immediately 

before driving off. Lost or damaged reflectors should 

be replaced with new ones.

Before traveling, make sure that all lamps and reflec-

tors are clean.

 CAUTION

ADVICE

The light source in the lamps are LEDs in the event 

of damage are replaced only as a complete lamp 

without the possibility of repair or regeneration.
