6.1 Switch point adjust-
ment
Setting the switch point of an
installed device
The following instructions describe
the procedure for a Normally Open
Contact (NOC). The actual state
(open or closed), can be deter-
mined using a continuity meter.

Flat-bladed screwdriver

Loosen the set screws of the
switch contact (Fig. 30/1) using
a flat-bladed screwdriver.
2.
Set the switch contact to the flow
value to be monitored. Make
sure that the arrow on the switch
contact data plate is exactly in
alignment with the desired flow
rate on the switchpoint adjust-
ment scale.
3.
Re-tighten the set screws of the
switch contact (/1) using a flat-
bladed screwdriver. When doing
so, observe the correct tight-
ening torque of the screws.
