4.7.4  Embedded Audio for unbalanced systems  

When fitted with the embedded audio option in an unbalanced AES system, the TX500 main 

frame will be fitted with individual rear panels, which provide connections to a 4425 Audio 

Embedder and 2 4429 Audio Extractor modules. This allows 2 levels of audio to be extracted 

from the incoming PGM and PST video signals, and up to 4 levels of audio to be embedded 

into the outgoing PGM video signal.  

Please refer to the next section for the requirements in a multi-level audio system.
