TX500 series technical manual 

Each EPROM displayed has the form SPxxx/yyz, where xxx is the EPROM number, yy is 

the EPROM version number and z is a beta release indicating character. The beta release 

character is an ASCII character starting from 'A', with a space indicating a formal release of 

that EPROM. 

Each version number has the form Vxx.yy, where xx is the release version number of the 

EPROM and yy is the release sub-version number of the EPROM. If the EPROM is 

displayed as SPXXX/XX, VXX.XX then there is no version information available, for 

example:
