to training:
∙ Are you cleared by your doctor to perform
strength training (applied force)?
∙ Are you cleared by your doctor to perform
cardiovascular training (circulation)?
Regarding Pacemakers:
∙ Are you cleared for strength and
cardiovascular training?
∙ Are you cleared to participate in outdoor
recreational activities that absorb shock?
(For example, water skiiing, snow skiing,
boating, horseback riding, etc.)
∙ Is the pacemaker in the chest or abdomen?
∙ If it is in the chest, avoid push-ups
and front plank.
∙ If it is in the abdomen, there are
no restrictions.
Regarding Pregnancy:
Now is not the time to start any new form
of training.
Regarding Detached Retina and Vertigo:
Sensitivity to vibration is subjective.

∙ Extending the knee and elbow
joint will cause more vibration
travel. To minimize this effect,
avoid locking the joints and
maintain a soft bend in the knee.
∙ Avoid putting pressure on heels,
knees and elbows, which can
cause additional vibration travel
to the head.
∙ Be cautious of overtraining
as it may be taxing to the
nervous system.
∙ Stay hydrated and keep
sugar level elevated.
∙ Keep feet flat.
∙ Avoid putting your head on
the machine.
∙ Avoid direct contact with your
spine during strengthening
exercises.
