Architecture
The system architecture of ROBO-8716VG2A includes two main Intel® chips, Intel®
845GV graphics controller hub supports Pentium 4/Celeon (D) / Mobile Pentium 4-
M / Mobile Celeron processor; DDR SDRAM; 2D/3D graphic display, and 6300ESB
I/O controller hub supports one PCI & one PCI-X interface, APM, ACPI compliant
power management, two UARTs, four USB ports, SMBus communication, SATA and
Ultra DMA/33/66/100 IDE Master. IDE interface was also used for supporting Type
II CompactFlash disk. The super I/O, W83627THF is responsible for PS/2
Keyboard/Mouse interface, two UARTs, Hardware Monitoring, Watch Dog Timer
and Infrared interface.
