Dynamic Lock
Windows Hello can automatically lock devices that are connected to your
smartphone via Bluetooth (such as your 2-in-1 laptop) after you have left the
Bluetooth area (function available from Windows Creators Update on). This
is beneficial, for example, when you leave a room and forget to lock
your 2-in-1 laptop.
To set up the Dynamic Lock, first pair your smartphone with the 2-in-1
laptop via Bluetooth.
Now activate the Dynamic Lock in the settings:
a)
Access Settings as usual and select the option "Accounts"
+
"Sign-in options".
b) Scroll down the menu window until you see the "Dynamic Lock"
option.
c)
Check the box "Allow Windows to detect when you’re away and
automatically lock the device.”
i
Notice
Alternatively, you can configure the Dynamic Lock using the Windows
Hello companion device app. This app is available in Windows Store.
Removing identification data for Windows Hello
If you no longer want to use Windows Hello, you can easily remove the
identification data stored exclusively on your 2-in-1 laptop:
a)
Access Settings as usual and select the option "Accounts"
+
"Sign-in options".
b) Under "Windows Hello"
+
"Face" tap or click the "Remove"
button.
Your identification data will be deleted immediately.
