9. Connecting other devices
You can establish a direct connection between your 2-in-1 laptop and
monitors, accessories, and other devices (such as smartphones) via
the USB Type-C™ ports, USB 3.0 ports and Bluetooth.
9.1 Setting up a Bluetooth
®
connection
You can transfer data wirelessly over short distances between different
types of devices via Bluetooth. Bluetooth-enabled devices include
computers, mobile phones, smartphones, tablet PCs and Bluetooth
headsets or speakers.
If you want to use Bluetooth, the following two conditions must be met:
a)
Bluetooth is enabled on both devices.
b) The devices are "paired" (= connected).
i
Notice
"Pairing" involves the mutual authentication of the devices and is
required for safety reasons when connecting for the first time. After
this, you only need to enable Bluetooth on the respective devices to
establish a connection.
Enabling Bluetooth
a)
Enable the Bluetooth function on the device you want to connect
and make the device visible to other devices if necessary.
i
Notice
Please read the user’s manual of the device to be connected.
b) Access Settings and tap or click "Devices"
+
"Bluetooth" (on the
left in the menu bar).
