Battery level indicator
This indicates the device’s battery level.
Volume control
Use the volume control slider to adjust the volume to the desired level.
Memo icon
Press this icon to open the Action Center.
The Action Center is a bar with quick links to some of the important
functions of the device that you can either display or hide (for example,
"Alle Einstellungen" etc.)

To open the Action Center, swipe your finger from the right edge of the
screen towards the centre of the screen.

The taskbar can be hidden if necessary. Access Settings ( ) via the
Start button ( ) or the Action Centre. Select "System"

"Tablet mode".
In the window that appears, select the option "Hide app icons on the
taskbar in tablet mode". If you want to display the taskbar again at short
notice, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.
