Using the touchpad
The touchpad performs the functions of a mouse. You move the
mouse pointer on the touch pad’s surface by dragging your finger
across the surface in the desired direction. The buttons are invisibly
integrated in the lower part of the touchpad and perform the same
functions as mouse buttons.
i
Notice
The touchpad is touch-sensitive. The lighter the touch, the better
the touchpad will respond. Please ensure that the touchpad and
your fingers are always dry and clean.
You use the left button to select functions, programs and files, position
objects and confirm commands. To do this, press or lightly tap in the
lower left area of the touchpad.
i
Notice
To select all elements in a range, press and hold the lower left area of
the touchpad for a slightly longer period of time, then drag a second
finger over them.
The right touchpad button calls up the context menu in an application.
Press or lightly tap in the lower right area of the touchpad.
You can quickly and conveniently scroll through Web pages,
documents and playlists by moving two fingers on the touchpad in any
direction.
You can change the size of some views (images, Web pages and so on).
Move two fingers apart on the touchpad to enlarge the display. To reduce
the display again, move two fingers towards each other on the touchpad.
