Start menu
The Start menu shows the same view as desktop PCs. It is the starting
point for the most important functions of Windows 10.
Below you can read some useful information about the Start menu’s
basic functions.
Accessing the Start menu
You can access the Start menu by:
• Tapping or clicking the Windows symbol ( ) on the bottom left
in the taskbar, or
• Pressing the Windows button on the keyboard.
Tapping or pressing a second time will hide the Start menu.
Start menu structure
The Start menu is divided into two sections: the classic navigation list
(A) and the app area (B) to the right of the navigation list.
