Fixing the mounting plate on the scanning head
2. Assemble the tripod as described in the assembly instructions provided by
the manufacturer MANFROTTO.
3. Unscrew the protective cap which is located on the central thread of the
tripod.
4. Unscrew the rotary handle on the bottom of the tripod.
5. Remove the tripod plate.
6. Unscrew the three set screws on the bottom of the tripod plate. Keep the
set screws in case you may need them at a later date.
7. Put the tripod plate onto the tripod again.
8. Screw in the plate with the rotary handle.
9. Align the tripod plate horizontally.
10. Assemble the adapter plate onto the top of the tripod plate using the three
M6 x 20 Allen screws as also shown in the following figure.
NOTE!
To ensure the stability of the tripod, always tighten the rotary handle on the bottom of the
tripod.
