Carry out a functional test as described in
3.6
Functional Test
Carry out the functional test for every measurement system.
NOTE!
When starting the software, select the measurement system:
-
Ethernet
for PSV-500-H
-
PCI-6110
for PSV-500-M
NOTE!
First of all, always connect up all connecting cables. Switch on the PC as the last instrument
so that the software detects the other instruments connected.
The implementation of a first functional test is described in the following. If the
instrument does not perform as described, read through the information on
fault diagnosis in
6 and if required, contact your local Polytec
representative.
For an initial functional test, proceed as follows:
Prepare
1. Install and cable the system as described in
2. Turn the key switch on the front of the front-end to position O.
3. Close the beam shutter on the front of the scanning head.
4. Position the scanning head so that the laser beam aperture is roughly
aligned with a test surface.
