Additional notes for specific parts
•
Removing the Holder Frame
Peel off the two vertical velvet strips from the sides of the Frame; remove the four
screws.
When replacing the Frame, be sure the locked padlock symbols are at the
top: this ensures that the opening in the Film Holder (from which exposed film
is pulled) is at the bottom.
•
Removing the Main PC Board
With the Holder Frame and Light Baffle removed, disconnect the plugs from CN4
and CN5 at the top of the Board (Figure 3-14A). Lift the wires out of the notch at the
rear of the Board and gently pull the Board backward, out of the three slotted holders.
The remaining plugs to CN1, 2 and 3 may be left connected, or disconnected to free
the Board.
•
Removing the Lenses
Use curved-jaw pliers, with sufficient cushioning on jaws to prevent damaging lens
barrels.
•
Removing the Front Panel Assembly
Remove the five mounting screws and first move the Panel vertically, to free the Panel
from the Exposure Counter wheel. When replacing the Front Panel Assembly, start at
the top and carefully position the slot at the top over the rim of the Exposure Counter
