Compare to specifications. Replace spring if either
measurement is out of specification.

Remove valve seals.

CAUTION:

Replace seals

whenever

the

cylinder

head

disassembled.

Hardened, cracked or worn valve seals will cause
excessive oil consumption and carbon buildup.
