3. Remove staple cartridge. Look inside stapler head to locate jammed staples
by eject point. Remove staples if any.
4. Position the stapler head on the edge of a firm surface (for example the top of
a table).
5. While securely holding the head, actuate the stapler up and down through full
travel. Perform this operation first without staple cartridge, then with staple
cartridge. Repeat this a few times to ensure that the staples are ejected at
each down movement.

Removal of Stapler Head
1. Select the A3 (11”x17”) position to ensure that the side joggers are away from
the stapler head.
2. Loosen the thumb screw [D]. Rotate the lock pin [E] towards the thumbscrews
and remove the lock pin from the stapler head assembly.
3. Disconnect the staple detection lead [F]. Push the stapler head towards the
in-feed side, out of the stapler head assembly.
