5 Hardware Introduction

Flashing orange: Warning occurs on the power supply unit, such as high
temperature, over current, fan failure and so on; therefore a replacement of the
unit may be necessary.
Off: No AC is power is connected to the power supply unit.
Control Card
The control card provides a Genlock connector with loop-through, a USB port and an
Ethernet port with status LEDs.
Genlock Connector
The Genlock connector is a standard 75 Ohm BNC connector for receiving the
synchronization signal.
The Genlock input supports bi-level and tri-level. The connector loops through the
Genlock signal to another downstream device.
USB Port
A type-B USB port is reserved.
Ethernet Port
The Ethernet port (RJ45) is used to connect with control PC. Two LEDs are both lit
when the port is connected. The green LED on the left side indicates the port
connection status, and the amber LED on the right side indicates the data
transmission status.
Green LED:

On: The port is connected.

Off: The port is not connected.
Amber LED:
−
Flashing: Active, data transmitting on the port
−
Off: Not active, no data transmitting on the port
5.4 Input Cards
5.4.1 SL-DVI Quad Input Card
General
The SL-DVI quad input card provides four DVI connectors supporting single link and
dual link inputs. The maximum loading capacity reaches 4K2K@60Hz.
