Method I
Connect No. 2 Ethernet port on the rear panel of the U3 event controller to
the Ethernet port on the control card of the F8/F4 for device control.

Method II
Connect No. 2 Ethernet port on the rear panel of the U3 event controller to a
router, and connect the Ethernet port on the control card of the F8/F4 to the
router.
U3 and F8/F4 connections
Note
Here takes the F8 to illustrate the connections. The F4 is connected in the same way
as the F8.
8.5.2 Connecting with F4 Lite
For device control

Method I
Connect No. 2 Ethernet port on the rear panel of the U3 event controller to
the Ethernet port on the control card of the F4 lite.

Method II
Connect No. 2 Ethernet port on the rear panel of the U3 event controller to a
router, and connect the Ethernet port on the control card of the F4 Lite to the
router.
For MVR and input view
Connect DVI input 1 and 2 connectors of the U3 event controller to DVI 1 and 2
connectors on the last output card of the F4 Lite.
