5.1.1 Creating or Adding a Speed Dial Number
To store a telephone number as a Speed Dial number, or to add a Special Dial
number:

Do This
1. Press FUNCTION.
2. Enter 5 and then YES.
3. Press YES.
4. Use the Numeric Keypad to enter the Speed Dial number
you want from 001 to 200. YES must be pressed if Speed
Dial number is 2 digits.
Enter the number, up to 36 characters. Use the Cursor
Keys to move left or right if corrections are necessary,
or press NO to backspace and erase incorrect digits.
NOTES:
1. If your phone system requires an access number to
reach an outside line, enter it first followed by a pause
(press the Pause Key( represented by "-" in the phone
number. Example: 9-5557069.
2. To add a five-second delay anywhere in the dialing
sequence, press PAUSE. Each pause(-) counts as a
character.
3. Press SPACE on the Numeric Keypad to enter a space
between area code and number to make it easier to read
in the display (i.e., 9-555 7069). Example: Enter 9-555
7069.
5. Press YES.
