• Connect the AM antenna ( r efe r to the Setup Guide ) and adjust the di r ection and
p osition fo r best r ece p tion. You may also connect an additional inte r nal o r exte r nal
AM antenna ( r efe r to Connecting external antennas on p age 34).
• Fully extend the FM wi r e antenna, p osition fo r best r ece p tion, and secu r e to a
wall. You may also connect an outdoo r FM antenna (see Connecting external
antennas on p age 34).
• Tu r n off othe r equi p ment that may be causing the noise o r move it fu r the r away.
• The tuning inte r val is inco rr ect fo r you r count r y o r r egion. See Frequency step
setting on p age 38 to switch the tuning inte r val.
Auto tuning does not
p ick u p some stations.
• The r adio signal is weak. Auto tuning will only detect r adio stations with a good
signal. Fo r mo r e sensitive tuning, connect an outdoo r antenna.

• Make su r e you have com p letely inse r ted the USB connecto r to this unit.
• Check that the memo r y fo r mat is FAT16 o r FAT32.
