Playing a JPEG slideshow

• If the device contains WMA/MP3/MPEG-4
AAC files, p layback of the slideshow and
audio files r e p eats. Du r ing audio p layback,
you can still use the ski p (

) functions.
Pictu r es a r e automatically adjusted so that
they fill as much of the sc r een as p ossible.
While the slideshow is r unning:
Browsing files with the
Navigator
Use the Navigato r to find WMA, MP3, MPEG-4
AAC and JPEG files o r folde r s by name.

• When a JPEG file is highlighted, a
thumbnail image is dis p layed on the r ight.
2 To play the highlighted track or display
the highlighted JPEG file, press ENTER.
• When a WMA/MP3/MPEG-4 AAC file is
selected, p layback begins f r om that file,
and continues until the end of the folde r .
• When a JPEG file is selected, a slideshow
begins, sta r ting with that file, and
continues to the end of the folde r .
Tip
• You can also p lay a JPEG slideshow while
listening to WMA/MP3/MPEG-4 AAC
p layback. Sim p ly select the audio file you
want to listen to followed by the JPEG f r om
which you want the slideshow to sta r t.
Playback of both the slideshow and the
audio files
r e p eats. Playback cont r ols a r e
effective fo r the JPEG slideshow only.
• To p lay all of the contents, r athe r than just
the cu rr ent folde r , exit the Navigato r and
sta r t p layback using the

( p lay) button.

1 With WMA/MP3/MPEG-4 AAC t r acks, p layback automatically r esumes at the end o r beginning of the t r ack.
2 • The time it takes fo r the p laye r to load a file inc r eases with la r ge file sizes.
• USB devices can contain u p to 299 folde r s and u p to 648 folde r s and files combined.
