Precautions when connecting the player
This player’s Analog copy protect technology is copy
guarded. If you connect the player to a TV via a VCR,
or record and playback the contents of a disc with a
VCR, the playback picture may not be normal.

This unit is capable of displaying the total play time and power
ON time as the working condition and maintenance timing
information.
The play time and power ON time can be displayed as de-
scribed below.

Press and hold
DISPLAY
on the front panel of the
main unit before turning power ON, and
press
STANDBY
ON
.

When an operation (playback from the re-
mote, for example) is performed, the time
information display disappears and normal
operation starts.
NOTE

As the time is measured by the CPU clock, the information
includes an error of up to 2%.

This is not capable of turning the total play time and power
ON time as the working condition and maintenance timing
information to 0.

Connect plugs to the terminals that match the plug’s color
(white, red, yellow).

Align the plug with the connector in the proper orientation
and insert, then tighten the lock screws.

press in carefully, then rotate to the right to lock.
