 Handhabung

÷

Auf keinen Fall eine gesprungene, zerkratzte oder verwellte Disc in
diesem Player abspielen. Derartige Discs können den Player
beschädigen oder Funktionsstörungen verursachen.

÷

Die Abspielfläche der Disc nicht beschädigen oder Schmutz
aussetzen.

÷

Keine Etiketten oder Aufkleber an der Disc befestigen.

÷

Bei Verwendung von Leih-Discs, an denen Aufkleber mit zuviel
Klebstoff angebracht worden sind, können Funktionsstörungen
auftreten. Vor dem Abspielen einer derartigen Disc sicherstellen, dass
kein Klebstoff unterhalb des Aufklebers ausgetreten ist.

 Aufbewahrung

÷

Beim Aufbewahren der Discs vorsichtig vorgehen. Wenn die Discs
schräg positioniert sind oder gestapelt werden, können sich die Discs
verziehen, selbst wenn sie sich in der Hülle befinden.

Die Anweisungen in der Begleitliteratur von Discs befolgen.

 Reinigung

÷

Fingerabdrücke und andere Verschmutzung auf der Disc kann
die Bild- und Tonqualität nachteilig beeinflussen.Zum Entfernen
von Schmutzflecken und Fingerabdrücken die Disc mit einem
weichen, trocken Tuch sacht abreiben, das von der Mitte gerade
nach außen geführt wird. (Das Tuch nicht in einer kreisförmigen
Bewegung über die Oberfläche der Disc führen.)

÷

Verwenden Sie keine Plattenreinigungs-Sprays oder Antistatik-Mittel
an diesen Discs. Achten auch darauf, daß flüchtige Chemikalien,
wie Benzol, Verdünner usw., nicht auf die Disc gelangen.

÷

Zur Reinigung einen weichen, trockenen Lappen verwenden. Wenn
erforderlich, kann der Lappen leicht mit neutralem Haushaltsreiniger

angefeuchtet werden, um starke Verschmutzung zu entfernen.

 Nicht normgerechte Discs

Mit diesem Player können keine anderen als kreisförmige Discs
(herzförmige, achteckige Discs usw.) abgespielt werden.
Wird versucht, eine nicht kreisförmige Disc abzuspielen, kann der Player
dadurch beschädigt werden. Ausschließlich normgerechte Discs
verwenden.

Reinigen der Abtasterlinse

Eine Reinigung der Pickup-Linse des Geräts dürfte bei normaler
Verwendung nicht erforderlich werden. Sollte aber durch
Verschmutzung eine Funktionsstörung auftreten, ziehen Sie eine PIO-
NEER-Kundendienstwerkstatt zu Rate. Linsen-Reinigungsmittel sind
zwar im Fachhandel erhältlich, doch kann eine unsachgemäße
Anwendung eine Beschädigung der Linse zur Folge haben.

Kondensatbildung

Wenn das Gerät von einem kalten Ort in einen warmen Raum gebracht
wird, oder wenn die Temperatur im Raum innerhalb kurzer Zeit stark
ansteigt, kann sich im Betriebsbereich des CD-Spielers Feuchtigkeit
abschlagen. In diesem Fall ist ein einwandfreier Betrieb unter
Umständen nicht mehr möglich.
Um dies zu verhindern, muß das Gerät in der neuen Umgebung vor
dem Einschalten etwa eine Stunde stehengelassen werden, oder darauf
achten, daß die Raumtemperatur nach und nach erhöht wird.
Kondensationsbildung kann auch im Sommer auftreten, wenn das
Gerät der Kühlluft einer Klimaanlage ausgesetzt ist. In diesem Fall
muß ein anderer Aufstellort für das Gerät gewählt werden.

Aufstellung

÷

Den Player auf einer waagerechten, stabilen Unterlage aufstellen.
Den Player nicht auf einer schrägen oder unstabilen Unterlage oder an einem
Ort aufstellen, der starken mechanischen Schwingungen ausgesetzt ist.

÷

Die Kühlvorrichtungen des Players nicht behindern, z.B. durch
Aufstellung auf einem langfasrigen Teppich usw. Den Player beim
Betrieb nicht mit einem Handtuch oder einer Decke umwickeln oder
abdecken. Durch eine derartige Abdeckung kann die Wärmeabfuhr
blockiert und eine Beschädigung des Players verursacht werden.

÷

Keinerlei Gegenstände auf den Player stellen.

÷

Den Player an einem Ort aufstellen, an dem er keinen Wärmequellen
ausgesetzt ist. Eine Aufstellung des Players auf einem Verstärker
oder anderen Wärme abgebenden Gerätes vermeiden. Bei Einbau
des Players in einem HiFi-Schrank ein Regal mit guter Belüftung
und möglichst weit unterhalb des Verstärkers auswählen.

÷

Wenn der Player in einem HiFi-Schrank aufgestellt wird, muss für
ausreichende Wärmeabfuhr gesorgt werden. Den Player so plazieren,
dass die Entlüftungsschlitze an der Ober- und Unterseite des Gerätes
nicht blockiert sind.
Dabei darf keine Wärme von oben auf den Player abgestrahlt werden, und
es muss ein Freiraum von mindestens 10 cm über und an beiden Seiten des
Players eingehalten werden, damit bei einer Zimmertemperatur von weniger
als 35 °C ein natürlicher Luftkonvektionsstrom im Umfeld des Gerätes
gewährleistet ist. Falls eine Aufstellung unter anderen Bedingungen
unvermeidbar ist, sicherstellen, dass die Lufttemperatur in einem Abstand
von 5 cm über der Mitte des betriebswarmen Players 35 °C nicht überschreitet.
Gegebenenfalls muss eine Zwangskühlung vorgesehen werden.

÷

Wenn mehrere Player parallel angeschlossen sind, werden die Geräte
beim erstmaligen Einschalten der externen Stromversorgung einem hohen
Stromstoß ausgesetzt. Bitte den Pioneer-Fachhändler zu den minimalen
Kennwerten des zu verwendenden Stromschalters konsultieren.

÷

Den Player nicht in einem durch Türen verschlossenen HiFi-Schrank
aufstellen. Anderenfalls kann es zu einem Wärmestau und somit zu
einer Beschädigung von Bauteilen im Geräteinneren kommen.

Betriebsumgebung

Betriebstemperatur und -luftfeuchtigkeit:
5 °C bis 35 °C, weniger als 85 % rel. Feuchte (Entlüftungsschlitze dürfen
nicht blockiert werden.)

Transport des Players

Den Player zum Transport an einen anderen Ort unbedingt wieder in
seinem Original-Verpackungskarton verpacken. Den Player vor starken
Erschütterungen und Stößen schützen und beim Transport nicht fallen
lassen. Während des Transports den Player vor Hitze und Wasser schützen.
Vor dem Verpacken des Players darauf achten, eine evtl. eingelegte Disc
zu entfernen. Wird der Player mit eingelegter Disc transportiert, kann dies
eine Beschädigung von Disc und Bauteilen im Geräteinneren verursachen.

Vorsichtshinweise zum Gebrauch

Zur besonderen Beachtung!

Den Player auf keinen Fall bewegen, während eine Disc abgespielt wird. Da
die Disc mit hoher Drehzahl im Geräteinneren rotiert, kann sie durch Anheben
oder Transportieren des Players an einen anderen Ort beschädigt werden.
Wird der Player starken Stößen oder Erschütterungen ausgesetzt, während
eine Disc eingelegt ist, können Disc und Player dadurch beschädigt werden.
Vor einem Transport des Players sicherstellen, dass der Player auf
Stopp geschaltet und keine Disc eingelegt ist. Auch vor einem
Anheben des Players nachprüfen, dass keine Disc eingelegt ist.
Bei diesem Gerät finden optische Bauteile Anwendung, die mit höchster
Präzision gefertigt wurden. Daher unbedingt darauf achten, dass die
Umgebungstemperatur den zulässigen Bereich nicht überschreitet und keine
hohe Staubkonzentration am Aufstellungsort vorliegt.
