For the LD-V4400 the player’s name is returned as follows:
P1516XX
First 5 characters (P1516) are the player series or model
identification, and the last two characters (XX) represent the
player version number.
NOTE:
Please be advised that the version
numbers are updated as running changes are made to the player.
