3.4 FLUSSAGGIO CON ACQUA
Esclusa l’alimentazione di processo alla macchina per le

o a seguito di interventi di emergenza dovuti ad avarie di
apparecchiature accessorie di impianto, si raccomanda di
effettuare il lavaggio della macchina come segue:

calda a seconda della natura e della temperatura del prodotto
di processo, attraverso il tubo di alimentazione.
La durata del lavaggio deve essere tale da esaurire l’uscita
della fase solida e contemporaneamente l’uscita liquida
pulita.
Tale operazione si rende indispensabile per evitare il ristagno
e la successiva fermentazione del prodotto nelle parti interne
della macchina, con formazione di cattivi odori (indesiderati
in processi alimentari o similari) e, soprattutto, incollamenti

al suo interno.
Moderare il lavaggio, riavviare la macchina a 1500 giri al

fra tubo di alimentazione e fusto coclea. Tutto questo, per
evitare rotture del tubo di alimentazione.
3.4 FLUSHING WITH WATER
When the machine’s process feed has been turned
off in the normal course of events (at the end of a work
shift), or following emergency operations necessitated by
accessory system apparatus breakdowns, it is advisable
to wash down the machine as follows:

(or suitable washing liquid) depending upon the nature
and temperature of the product being processed.

This operation is absolutely necessary to avoid the stagna-
tion and subsequent fermentation of the product within the
machine, giving rise to unpleasant smells (undesirable in
foodstuffs processes and the like), and, above all its sticking

3.5 SHUT-DOWN
In order to stop versions equipped with rotovariator or second

taken place.
The transition from steady-state speed to zero takes considera-
ble time (in the order of 15 minutes) due to the high momentum
of the rotor and and ring of water present within it.
Reduce the washing, switch on the machine at 1500 RPM,
in order to remove the eventual solid residuals, present
between the feed-pipe and screw-body. This must be made
in order to avoid feed-pipe breakings.
