1. No Voice Prompt
The possible causes:
•
Depleted battery
– replace the battery immediately. If a replacement is not available, order a new battery immediately.
•
Speaker system failure or device failure
– if the device still has no voice prompt after replacing the battery, replace the unit.
2. Unable to establish USB Connection to a computer
Overview
: When running WCT, LDA, and PIP software, a USB cable is required to connect the
LPCR2
to the computer. If the software cannot establish the connection
between computer to the device, the possible causes are:
•
Incorrect cable type
– use the USB cable shipped with the device (REF 21300-008143)
•
USB cable not properly connected
– Ensure the USB cable is firmly inserted into the USB port on the device.
•
COM port not assigned on Computer
– following direction below to fix COM port assignment.
When connecting the
LPCR2
to a computer using the USB cable, if
Wi-Fi Configuration Tool
or
LIFENET Device Agent
cannot connect to the
LPCR2
, use
Computer Management
to check which COM Port is assigned to USB cable.

Click Start, and type
Computer Management
from Search programs and files.
2.2
Click Computer Management
