5. Electrode Replacement
NOTE:
The electrode tray must be replaced if any of
the following occurs:
•
The seal on the tray is broken
•
The electrodes are used
•
The Use By date (shown next to the hourglass
symbol) has passed.
5.1
Remove Electrode Tray by pressing lower tabs,
then pulling tray up and forward. DO NOT USE
HANDLE TO REMOVE ELECTRODE TRAY.
5.2
Install electrode (REF 11103-000026) by first
sliding in the top edge, then snapping in the two
retaining clips in the bottom corners.
Note:
When the electrodes are used or expired, the
Readiness indicator will not flash until the electrode tray
is replaced. When a new electrode tray is installed, after
closing the lid, the Readiness indicator will flash every 6
seconds. The AED status will be updated in LIFELINK
or LIFENET after closing the lid.
