Assembly object (for Class 1 interface)
The “Assembly Object” interface is used to directly tie vendor-specific objects to a standard
interface that the EtherNet/IP PLC uses to communicate to the device.
The “Assembly Object” corresponds to the “Serial and Socket Data Transfer Objects” for the
GW EIP/ASCII.... Each instance of the “Assembly Object” corresponds to one or more of the
“Serial and/or Socket Data Transfer Object” attributes.
The “Assembly Object” defines the interface by which a Class 1 PLC can request the
receive data packets from and write the transmit data to the GW EIP/ASCII....
