Recommended:
•
Use power supplies with an output current of at least 5.0 A or higher.
Suitable power supplies are listed in
6.1.2
Wiring and connecting the power supplies
The controller is supplied with two external power supplies with 24 V DC each. The permis
-
sible voltage range is 19.2 V DC to 30 V DC (ripple included).
Each connection for the power supply is monitored internally in the device.
Temporary voltage interruptions are bridged by the built-in voltage buffering.
NOTE: Startup of the RFC 4072R not ensured
Correct device startup will not be ensured if you switch on the supply voltage too soon
after a voltage failure.
• Wait at least 30 seconds after the display has gone out before switching the device
supply voltage on again.
NOTE: Device defect due to polarity reversal
Polarity reversal puts a strain on the electronics and can damage the device.
• To protect the device, avoid reversing the poles of the connections.

Connecting the power supplies
•
To wire each of the two power supplies, proceed as follows:
•
Connect the “+” terminal to the positive pole of the power supply.
•
Connect the “-” terminal to 0 V.
•
Connect the “FE” terminal to functional ground.
•
Connect the power supplies as illustrated in
•
Secure the COMBICON connector of each power supply in place on the device using
the retaining screws.
