8.3 Your Preferences
Your Preferences
submenu contains two items:
Display Options
and
Language Options
.
8.3.1 Display Options
The
Display Options
screen allows you to define some options related
to displaying information on the screen.
Time and Date
Blocks the current time and date from being displayed in the
Channel
Banner
mode.
Channel Number
Blocks the channel number from being displayed in the top right corner
of the screen.
Channel Banner Duration
Specifies how long the
Channel Banner
remains displayed.
Volume Bar
Bocks the volume bar from being displayed.
Note:
1- The YES option shall be set if Volume & Mute are controlled via the receiver
(so called STB).
2- The NO option shall be set if Volume & Mute are control by the TV set.
Transparency
Changes the transparency of the on-screen display.
Application AutoSTART
Defines whether MHP applications are to be launched automatically once
you tune to a channel on which external applications are broadcast.
Technical Info
Decides whether some technical info such as satellite name and the
service-id are to be displayed in the
Program Info
window.
8.3.2 Language Options
The
Language Options
screen allows you to define some options
related to language preferences. Change any languages according to your
preferences and then press
OK
to confirm them.

8.4 Installation
Once your satellite receiver has been properly installed and configured,
you will rarely use the
Installation
submenu. However, the
Installation
submenu will be useful, if for example, you buy a new TV and you want
to make sure your receiver makes the best use of the new TVs features,
or you change your antenna setup.
