To clean the module, remove the module from the therapy device. Wipe the outside of the device
with a cloth slightly dampened with water and a mild detergent. Let the device dry completely before
reinstalling into the therapy device.
Dispose of the module following the same disposal instructions for your therapy device.
5.3 Oximeter
The DreamStation oximetry system, when part of the Philips Respironics E30 device, measures and
displays %SpO
2
and heart rate in adult and pediatric patients.
Warning
Use only Philips Respironics recommended SpO
2
cables and pulse oximeter sensors. Use of
incompatible sensors can result in inaccurate pulse oximeter performance.
5.4 DreamStation roll stand
There is a roll stand available for use with your device. Please see the instructions included with your roll
stand for more information.
5.5 Supplemental oxygen
Oxygen may be added anywhere in the patient circuit up to 30 LPM of low flow oxygen into the patient
circuit, and up to 60 LPM of low flow oxygen into the inlet of the device.
Please note the warnings in Chapter 1 when using oxygen with the device.
5.6 SD card
The device does not come with an SD card, but does have an SD card slot on the side of the device. If
inserted, an SD card can record information.
