Checking Firmware Version
To check the camera’s firmware version:
•
Go to Camera Settings | About | Camera.
The camera’s firmware version displays.
To check the lens’s firmware version:
•
Go to Camera Settings | About | Lens.
The lens’s firmware version displays.
8.4
Restoring Firmware to Factory Version
To restore the camera’s firmware to the factory version (camera settings are not affected):
1. Open the XQD card cover (see Using XQD Cards).
2. Insert a pin into the hole shown in the picture and hold it down.
3. Connect the camera to power while holding down the pin.
4. Wait 3 – 4 seconds.
5. Put the camera aside for several minutes while the firmware is restored to the factory version. Do
not power off the camera until all LEDs resumes normal colors (see interpreting the camera LEDs
section)
