Example
of
a
Pipe
System
In
the
example
on
the
previous
page
each
independently
controlled
sprinkler
on
the
green
has
a
water
consumption
of
approx.
10
m³/h
and
the
manifolds
on
the
tee
have
consumption
of
6
m³/h
or
8
m³/h.
The
pump
capacity
of
40m³/h
would
make
it
possible
for
all
the
4
sprinklers
on
the
green
to
be
in
operation
simultaneously.
However,
as
the
pipe
supplying
Green
1
would
be
overloaded
while
the
other
lines
remain
unused,
the
resulting
pressure
drops
would
be
excessively
high.
For
this
reason
it
would
be
beneficial
to
arrange
the
valves
from
the
example
by
dividing
them
in
hydraulic
groups
and
hydraulic
sectors.
When
the
flow
for
the
hydraulic
groups
/
sectors
from
the
example
is
then
entered,
a
maximum
of
2
sprinklers
can
be
in
operation
on
the
green
simultaneously.
The
following
flow
diagram
illustrates
the
example
once
again.
