13.3 VCU Commands
You can use this menu option to send commands to the VCU.
VCU commands:
Reset VCU error: You must use this button to reset the VCU after
an error has occurred (red LED is on).
All programs remain to be stored in the VCU.
All reports remain to be stored in the VCU.
The decoder line will be initialised.
Should the error reappear, check the decoder and
the decoder line for a short ‐ circuit.
Clear VCU memory: The VCU memory is completely deleted. All the VCU values are
reset to default values. All reports are deleted. All programs are
deleted.
Clear VCU reports: The current reports are all deleted.
The irrigation programs remain to be stored in the VCU.
Clear VCU irrigation log: All the reported irrigation data is deleted.
The irrigation programs remain to be stored in the VCU.
Reboot VCU: Identical to switching the VCU off and on.
Afterwards the following message is displayed:
Code 014 ‐ VCU – Communication error .
This is a standard response.
Press the [Esc] key to remove the message.
