Introduction

This chapter describes how to upgrade the server firmware and how to restore the NMS server if the disk fails.

Upgrading the RAID Controller

To upgrade the server firmware:

Place the

Highpoint RR3120 firmware upgrade 1.2.25.8 bootable

CD into the optical drive of the

NMS server. Restart the system. The NMS server will boot from the firmware upgrade CD.
