10 • Managing Database Policies

Custom Filter.

You can create your own custom filter and define rules for processing alarms. To use custom fil-

ters, write your own filter class in JAVA. The custom filters that you implement must be compiled and placed
in the CLASSPATH of the FS6300 NMS Java Virtual Machine.

To use custom filters:
