OPERATION PROCEDURES
1. Caster (Central locking system)
WARNING

Lock the casters at all times except when moving the
stretcher. Otherwise, the stretcher may move when
transferring a patient to or from a bed, adjusting the height, or
raising the backrest, causing an unexpected injury.

z
Do not stand on the caster lock pedals. The person may tip
over, resulting in an injury or stretcher damage.
Central locking system
z
All four casters can be locked (swivel and rotation are locked at the same time) or
unlocked by operating only one caster lock pedal.
z
Caster lock pedals are located at the four corners of the stretcher, allowing them to be
operated at each side of head and foot ends.
To lock the casters
z
z
Depressing the caster lock pedal (red) locks the
swiveling and rotation of all four casters at the
same time.

Depressing the caster lock pedal (green) unlocks
all four casters.

CAUTION

Do not attempt to forcibly move the stretcher when the
casters are locked (fixed). It may result in malfunction.

Do not operate the caster lock pedals when transporting
a patient. It places a load on the casters resulting in
malfunction.
