3. Set the machine to manual mode by pressing the button (2) Fig 80.
4. Set the tool to de-clipping ”Ext” mode by pressing the button (1) Fig 80.

Activate the dead man’s grip (7), Fig 81. check that the de-clipping shoes are in the right
height relative the clip.This depends on the type and dimension of the current rail. If
necessary, adjust the height of the work head with the adjustment screw (1) Fig 82 on the
sleeper lifter. There should be a gap of about 5 mm between the tip of the de-clipping pad
and the foot of the rail.
