Resistance measurement
Attention: Before making any measurements, make sure the circuit is
disconnected from any power source and all capacitors are properly
discharged!
1. Set the rotary switch to the

‐ ‐ Position
2. Press the SELECT button to select the desired function.
3. Connect the test prods of the leads to the resistance or circuit to be
tested. To avoid influence disconnect the resistant to be tested from the
circuit.
Once the reading stabilizes, read the value. If the polarity is twisted a "Minus
sign" is displayed.
The test leads have an inherent resistance of approx. 0.1 ‐ 0.2 Ω , which
influences the measurement. To get a more accurate result in the range up to
200 Ω , the test leads should be shorted before the actual measurement and
their resistance value should be subtracted from the value of the actual
measurement. Above 1M Ω the display may fluctuate for a few seconds before
the exact value is displayed.
Continuity test

4. If the resistance is less than about 60 Ω , you hear an audible signal. If the
circuit is open, the display shows “OL” or "1".
