Opening a Door (Door Open)
You can unlock a door from your extension, if enabled through system programming.
From an enabled extension
From an extension that is on a call with a doorphone

Enter "#31" when "Plan 2" or "Plan 3" is selected as the numbering plan through system
programming.

When using an optional 2-port doorphone card, select "1" and/or "3" (not "1" and/or "2")
as the doorphone number.
•
If no one answers a doorphone call within a specified time period, ringing stops and the
call is cancelled.
•
When an optional 4-port doorphone card is installed in the PBX, doorphones 1 and 2 (or
doorphones 3 and 4) cannot be used at the same time. When one is in use, you cannot
have a conversation with the other.
