Before executing the Card/Port Test

•

This test is required in the following cases:

a)

When new devices are installed.

b)

When the device combination is changed.

c)

When the system detects an alarm or an error message in the error log.

d)

When the device status becomes "Fault."

e)

When a number of extension phones don't function properly.

•

This test is available in on-line/off-line mode.
Please refer to Section "2.10

Starting Up the KX-TD500 System" for details about on-line 

and off-line.

•

The target card should be set to "OUS (Out-of-Service)" status beforehand.
