Be sure that all data in the selected volume is deleted if you format a volume of the printer’s hard disk
drive.
You must not turn the printer off until formatting the hard disk is completed.

Display the Maintenance window (

see “Displaying the Maintenance Window” on

page 225

).

Click the desired volume and click

Action

menu, then click

Format

.

The confirmation window is displayed to format the volume.

[OK]

.

Click

[OK]

.

The printer starts formatting the selected volume of the hard disk drive.
After formatting the hard disk is finished, the message is displayed.
