RS-232-C serial command control
Intensity setting and others can be controlled under serial signals by connecting the “RS-232-C”
terminal on the back of the AICURE body with an external device (personal computer, PLC).
Control is accomplished by an interactive procedure in which a command is sent from the external
device to the AICURE, and the response is returned from the AICURE to the external device.

The machine returns the response whenever a command comes in. If no response
comes back after the transmission of a command, a transmission error should be
assumed. Then error handling should be done.

Up to 32 AICUREs can be connected to one external device. When sending a
command, specify the address (device number). For the address, see Chapter 8
Address Setting/Language Switching.
