Installation of the light guide fiber unit

Loosen the screw on the fiber unit mount ring at the front
of the unit

Insert the light guide fiber unit into the fiber unit mount
ring as far as it will go and secure the unit with the screw.
•
Keep dust and burrs from between the flange of the lamp and the
base. The presence of dust or burrs displaces the lamp electrode,
lowering the intensity of UV irradiation.
•
When inserting the light guide fiber unit into the mount ring, make
sure that the UV intensity monitor fiber is on the right hand, and
insert the fiber unit as far as it will go. Otherwise, the indicated
intensity will differ from the actual one.
